List of interesting links with brief introductions.

Previously available at β€œLinks” page (now empty).

Web Sustainability GuidelinesπŸ”—

Multi-faceted and comprehensive guide to making sustainable web sites/products, with links to research and examples.

Godot Engine Docs (Getting Started)πŸ”—

Explanations of basic godot concepts, as well as more detailed walkthroughs and a full reference for nodes, functions, variables, best practices, and general topics.

NixOS & Flakes BookπŸ”—

An (unofficial) introduction to Nix, which includes flakes (unlike official docs), and seems more beginner friendly and comprehensive than the official docs. Aims to include everything you might need.

Soatok/Dhole MomentsπŸ”—

Great writing on security, but also posts on general things, and a good series on getting jobs (in tech; called β€œFurward Momentum”). The about page has a list of β€œtop posts”. Filippo Valsorda is also a good resource for cryptography and security.

lobste.rsπŸ”—

Well-moderated tech forum.

Search engine that tries to be indie, relevant, and free of corporate marketing.

CL CookbookπŸ”—

Handy articles and references for getting stuff done in Common Lisp.

Lisp Journey/VindarelπŸ”—

Website by Vindarel β€” big contributor to Common Lisp cookbook and community.

Ye Olde BlogrollπŸ”—

Short and curated list of personal and indie blogs.

SourcehutπŸ”—

Indie (ish?) and FOSS source forge with interesting UI/UX and more, started by drewdevault and company.

Drew DevaultπŸ”—

Articles on FOSS software and community, and tech in general.

SeirdyπŸ”—

Articles on accessibility, security, privacy, FOSS. Includes a good one on accessibility that’s inspired a fair bit of my UI/UX designs, and some of the design for the current website (to be fair, the article is a compilation of various other sources).

DanLuuπŸ”—

Well thought out posts on various topics, especially tech and personal productivity/improvement.

Farnam Street BlogπŸ”—

Articles on improving yourself.
